This charm is cast directly from an original Roman Republican coin I sourced in italy. The original coin dates to the Roman Republic (circa 3rd–2nd century BCE) and features the helmeted head of Roma, the symbolic protector and personification of the city of Rome.
Coins of this type were issued as silver denarii and circulated throughout the Republic, carrying imagery that represented Roman authority, strength, and civic identity. This modern cast preserves the scale, texture, and worn character of the ancient original, reimagined as a wearable heirloom.
